Samira Hazama

Samira Hazama is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a degree in Masters of science, Clinical Counseling Psychology. Samira started her career providing mental health services to children and teens in various school districts. Later, she found an interest in working with adults at an inpatient facility for substance abuse recovery where she worked for many years. At this time she became the lead therapist treating dual diagnoses. In recent years, Samira worked for a group private practice and later transitioned into her own private practice full time. Samira enjoys working with multicultural clients with areas of interests that include trauma, grief, mood disorders, anxiety and substance abuse. Samira finds much inspiration working with clients on their healing journey and interpersonal growth. In addition to her private practice, Samira is grateful to have the opportunity to be an advisor for a nonprofit Organization, Sahaba Initiative. Through this organization, she provides mental health services at  a low cost or no fee. In her personal time, Samira enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exploring nature.
