Associate Clinical Social Worker

Rangeena Salim-Eissa, ASW

As your therapist, my primary role is to walk alongside you on your journey – staying a half step behind as you reflect on your lived experiences, stressors and explore meanings that promote your own sense of well-being.

My aim is to provide you with a brave space within which you can grow at your own pace & without judgment. You are the expert of your experience, while I am a guest, tasked with listening, reflecting back and supporting you as you uncover new understandings.

I firmly believe that we all have the capacity for greater self-understanding and for creating change that feels meaningful in our lives. For minoritized folks, therapy can serve as a space for self-liberation, particularly without judgment or needing to over-explain. My hope is to offer my clients a space to work through difficulties and stressors while learning to normalize the body’s reaction to what happens around us, and gain new insights that allow us greater self-clarity.
